Guys: 5 Ways To Satisfy Her With A Small P3nis (No. 4 Na Top Notch)

Having a small p3nis size has not been only a cause for worry for the men that have it but also for their partner as they rarely get satisfied during s3x but there is no cause for alarm because no matter how small your p3nis is there are styles that can make you pleasure and satisfy your woman to the core and make her forget you have a small p3nis.

Here are tips and styles to satisfy your woman in bed with your small p3nis size.

Foreplay: “The closer she is to cumming during foreplay, the easier it will be for her to achieve climax once you penetrate, if you can make her cum before actual penetrative s3x begin, then you are very well on your way to truly satisfying her so, do what you need to do, kiss her deeply, suck her cl!t, finger her, play with her n!pples, whatever you do, just make sure you really please her before bring your p3nis into the game’.

Doggy style: “This is a very good position for guys with small p3nis for many reasons, you feel more confident and it’s guaranteed to make her have an orgasm because doggy styles are the best way to reach her G-spot and she gets to really feel what your length have to offer”.

The V-Formation: “While the woman lies on her back, move between her thighs and enter her as you normally would from a kneeling position, lift her legs in the air, hold her ankles, and spread her legs apart, forming a V-shape you can also dR@pe her legs over your shoulders”.

The Rabbit Ears: “With the woman lying on her back, spread her thighs and draw her legs up until her knees are close to her ears and don’t forget to slip a pillow under her bottom, this position allows you to penetrate her easily and deeply”.

The Er0tic V: “You stand or kneel while your woman sits on the edge of the bed and you enter her, it will be at a slight upward angle, so your p3nis should hit the top wall of her vag!na”.

Four (4) Science-Backed Reasons Why Broke Guys Are Better In Bed

Money ain’t everything, gals.

I’ll never claim to be the most $exually experienced woman in the world but like many other women I have my theories about men and their s*x habit.

The most compelling: Broke men are much better in bed.

Don’t believe me? Here are four reasons (backed by science!) that prove it:

1. They make up for what they lack.

My personal theory is simply that, “broke” men are better in bed because they feel the need to overcompensate for their lack there-of. When I asked relationship coach and YourTango expert Arianna Jeret for her expert opinion — she stated, “If a man makes a lower income than other men he thinks might pursue her, he is going to want to show her that he has some impressive skills in the bedroom. But I would call that working with what you’ve got, not overcompensating.”

She also added, “They’re more likely to be more focused on quality of life than a life of luxury — and that quality of life probably includes great, frequent s*x.”

2. They’re less stressed about work.

A study found that 56 percent of men who bring in less money than their wives claimed to have “hot” or “very good” s*x lives, in comparison to their higher earning counterparts. Why? They have less to stress about when it comes to work.

Jean Hannah Edelstein, a relationship author says, “I wouldn’t advocate that men rush out and quit their jobs to improve their s*x lives but it’s another reason for them to join women in the campaign for gender pay equity.”

Oh, not to mention 90 percent of these lesser-earning men also said their marriages were “happy.”

3. They’re less likely to cheat.

Another study found that people of a higher social class are more likely to cheat and lie. I don’t know about you, but one of the biggest turn-ons in bed is confidently knowing that your guy only has eyes (and hands and other things) for you. Think Jack from Titanic: His loyalty was top notch, was it not?

4. They check their ego at the door.

Jerret says, “Men who make a lower income are also less likely to feel entitled to be the only one satisfied because they don’t have the same feeling of being ‘owed’ by her.” And isn’t it always refreshing to know he won’t place your pleasure on the same pedestal as a precious trust fund?

Must Read: What You Need To Know About Nightmares And Their Meanings

Most of us nod off as our sleeping brain uses this time to make sense of our day-to-day experiences. We continue to fall deeper and deeper into a slumber as our dream world unfolds, putting us face-to-face with our unconscious fears and desires. This could manifest into a cycle of bad dreams from seeing zombies to being cheated on.

So, what is the meaning behind these nightmares?

Santoro notes a common nightmare we all get is being Un.clad in front of people. This dream is often accompanied by an audience of fully clothed people. Dreaming of being Un.clad in front of people can represent a fear of revealing something to others; a secret we’re worried people have or soon will discover; a loss of identity; or feeling ashamed or misjudged about something we took or said.

Other dreams take us to a more supernatural world where ghosts, zombies, and the undead surface. For example, seeing a ghost in our dream doesn’t mean impending doom. The dead can symbolize regret, thoughts we find upsetting, or a repressed memory trying to break through. A ghost can also signify a task or goal we’re having trouble achieving.

Some of us, whether we’re in a relationship or not, will dream about being cheated on. This doesn’t necessarily mean our partner did so in real life, or even that we’re worried they will. Often, this means we’re worried about the stability of our relationship, or maybe even our career. We dream a person closest to us betrayed us emotionally, because of a lack of trust in ourselves or our decisions.

Understanding the symbolism behind our nightmares can help us better cope with fears and desires in real life.

Whawoo! 5 Reasons To Have S3X With A Guy With A Small P3nis Today

By now we all know that women like men that are endowed, men with big p3nis  but in as much as having a small p3nis might be a disadvantage at times but you can also have all the fun and enjoyment you want with a man with small p3nis, infact having s3x with a man with small d!ck has its own benefits.

Even though guys with a small p3nis are always worried about satisfying their woman in bed but let’s ask this question, “does size matter in s3x?”. Some ladies admit to having issues with guys that are not endowed but some ladies love their partners like that and have more satisfying s3x with a guy with small p3nis size than with one with a big one.

Ladies, here some ways to enjoy s3x with a small p3nis size.

More mouth action: “Most women swear that men with smaller p3nis give the best head, so if you’re the type of lady who loves nothing more than the smooth caress of a loving, eager to please tongue between her legs, then who needs a big p3nis?”.

Less jaw ache: “They don’t call it a bl0w job for nothing, it really is work because giving head to a smaller p3nis can be a breeze compared to the sometimes overwhelming, long winded, jaw aching, sucking action that comes with 0rally stimulating a larger p3nis, experimenting with different techniques and depths is also a lot easier to get your mouth around a small willy, than trying to work your magic with an extra thick p3nis”.

Pain-free s3x: “Most women with smaller vag!na opening usually do not enjoy s3x with men with larger p3nises, small p3nis s3x is so much easier when you compare it to thrusts that are too deep, odd angles, and coping with feeling like you are being stretched or ripped and not to mention dealing with the acute discomfort of having a long p3nis head, extend way past its welcome zone in your vag!na, and bump it’s way against the back of your cervix this is enough to drive you straight in to the arms, or rather the P@nts of a man with a more modest p3nis”.

Er3ction issues: “Having a small p3nis is definitely an advantage when it comes to maintaining en er3ction because it seems to be common that well-endowed men tend to lose their er3ctions especially when with a condom, more often than men with a very small p3nis so in a nutshell, small p3nis is a lot less disappointing when you don’t have to hear the complaints and the whines of a guy who apparently can’t maintain his er3ction”.

Overcompensating: “It might sound selfish but men with a smaller p3nises generally just want to wow you in the bedroom so if that means you have no choice but to lay back, while he lovingly goes that extra mile or you are forced to be romanced, caressed, and loved over and over again then so be it and who says there’s anything wrong with over compensating in one area to make up for the shortcomings in another?”.

Relationship Mistakes Every Couple MUST Avoid At All Cost (No. 3 & 7 Kills Many Relationship)

-Top Issues that Brings Problem into Relationship which You Should Avoid Today

Every relationship has its good moment and bad moments, ups and downs so don’t be fooled by the jolly happy relationship most people portray on social media but when you and your partner are emotionally connected you will know how to handle the bad times without it affecting your relationship. It is advisable for couples to have an understanding and not deliberately make some mistakes in their relationship, below are some relationship mistakes every couple must avoid at all cost.

Don’t treat fights as battles: No matter how bad the fight between you and your partner are, know that it is a lovers’ fight and not war so there is no winner or loser so know it is something you both have to settle amicably to make things better and not to proclaim one partner as the winner.

Don’t get personal: In relationships, it is possible you both know your weaknesses and insecurities with time so don’t use their vulnerabilities against your partner because they trust you enough to show and tell you their weaknesses, don’t break that trust and respect them enough not to use their trust as leverage against them.

Don’t bring up the past: There is a saying that when the past comes knocking, don’t open meaning let the past be past, don’t bring up past issues into a fresh issue as it will only complicate things and make it worse.

Don’t get insecure/jealous: Always remember your partner has his/her life to live, he/she has friends, family who needs their time and attention too so stop feeling jealous or insure with your partner hanging out or talking to other people, everyone needs their private space in relationships as there is nothing as worst as feeling suffocated in a relationship.

Don’t snoop around: Relationships should be built on trust, there is no sense when you stick around in a relationship that you don’t trust your partner so don’t snoop on your partner, stop checking their phones and stop stalking them on social media it is not healthy for you or your relationship.

Don’t indulge in emotional drama: This is especially for the ladies, don’t hold your partner hostage emotionally, don’t threaten them because you are not having your way as this can be emotionally draining for your partner as well as scare them off instead have a matured conversation with your partner.

Don’t publicise your problems: Stop making issues in your relationship public knowledge, people won’t help you solve it they will only gossip ad mock you about it, try and solve your issues privately and refrain from involving third parties in your relationship

Don’t make them your everything: Always remember that not al relationships will last so matter how good your partner may be at times things might not work out well so when you make them your reason for living it will become difficult to live on when the relationship ends. “So have a life outside the bubble of your relationship too, don’t lose your identity in order to love them, because if they leave, you will be left with nothing, not even yourself so give it your best, but don’t lose yourself”

“If you and your better half stay away from these relationship mistakes then you two have a chance of actually making it to ‘forever’ perhaps”.

Eleven (11) Facts About bosoms Every Woman Should Know

Have you ever looked at your bosoms and wondered if they’re normal? It turns out, they come in all different shapes and sizes. What’s more, they can bring you incredible pleasure, help feed a baby, and even tip you off to some potentially serious health problems. Seriously, they’re amazing. After reading this, we promise you’ll have newfound respect for this body part. Here, everything you need to know about your bosoms.

1. They Can Span Several Inches
The size of a woman’s bosoms and areolas can be as wide as a half-dollar or smaller than a dime, and either way is totally normal.

2. They Come in a Range of Colors
Pale pink, brick red, dark brown: bosom pigment has to do with a woman’s ethnic background and the hue of the rest of her skin. Just as bosom size changes when you have a baby, so does bosom color, and that shift in shade is often permanent.

3. They’re Capable of Much of Pleasure
bosoms are an erogenous zone for many women, and a 2011 study from the Journal of s*xual Medicine backs this up. Researchers using MRI imaging found that when bosoms are stimulated, a pleasure center inside the brain lights up the same way it lights up after stimulation of the cli**ris and v**ina.

4. bosom Orgasms are Not Fiction
The same 2011 study that showed a link between bosom stimulation and the pleasure center of the brain also raised the possibility that bosom stimulation alone could result in climax, something s*x researchers previously estimated that only a “small number” of women could experience.

5. They Sometimes Come in Threes
It’s not uncommon for a man or a woman to be born with three bosoms (or four, or five, or seven, as one 2012 study details). These extra bosoms, known as “supernumerary bosoms,” resemble a mole or mark. They never develop into actual br**sts, and they can show up anywhere on the body, according to the National Institutes of Health.

6. bosoms Are Supposed to Be Bumpy
Look closely at your bosoms and the surrounding areolas; they kind of resemble the bumpy, crater-filled surface of the moon. “Those bumps on the areola can be hair follicles, ducts, or oil glands that produce lubricating fluid. It’s totally normal to have them.

7. But Sometimes a Bump Is Bad News
A rare form of chest cancer called Paget’s disease can present itself as a red bump or rash on the bosom or areola. It’ll look like an angry skin change that doesn’t go away. If you spot this and it persists for a few weeks, have your doctor take a look.

8. They Don’t Love the Gym
Working out is super-healthy for your body as a whole, but it can be rough on your bosoms, which often get dry, chafed, and even bloody as they rub back and forth against your sports bra. Dabbing on some petroleum jelly before a treadmill session will soothe irritated skin.

9. Nursing Can Do a Number on Them
Soreness, pain, cracking, bleeding—these are just some of the consequences of having a hungry newborn attached to your bosoms several times a day, says Dweck. These symptoms tend to disappear as a new mom gets the hang of it, but if your bosoms continue to suffer, get an assist from your pediatrician or a lactation consultant.

10. They Can Leak Milk
Nursing moms, you might want to keep an extra blouse in your purse or glove compartment. It’s a totally freaky phenomenon, but many B.reastfeeding women have found themselves suddenly leaking milk as soon as they hear the cry of a random infant or baby nearby.

11. Discharge Can Be a Warning Sign
A little discharge that comes out after you’ve squeezed your bosom is probably no big deal. But a white, creamy discharge that’s released on its own could be a sign of a non-cancerous growth in the brain. Green or black discharge can tip you off to a benign duct problem. And bloody discharge might mean chest cancer. If you experience the latter, bring it to your doctor’s attention.

Five (5) Secret Communication Codes Women Use For Men

If everyone gets a kobo for every time they hear someone say ‘women are too difficult to understand’, we’ll all be millionaires by now.

Clearly there’s a true/untrue belief out there that many women are so difficult to understand and that as a man, you’d need some form of heightened sensitivity to always decipher what a woman really wants because they don’t ever say what they want, and when they do, they usually mean the opposite.

Women truly drop secret codes for men and expect them to pick up on those hints. Five of these hints are interpreted below:

1. Three dots at the end of messages

Apparently when women do this, they expect you to keep the conversation going. Because they enjoy chatting with you.

2. How was your day?

When a woman asks this question, she indirectly wants you to show interest in how her own day went.

3. Are we good?

When she asks this, she’s likely worried that you are no longer as close and warm towards her as you used to be. It’s a code for “have I done anything to piss you off?”

4. The mute treatment

Every man is probably aware or used to this one. When women do this, it’s a coded way of letting you know that you have totally messed up and she is expecting you explanation or apology or both. It’s also a way of asking for your attention.

5. What are we?

A variant of this is ‘where are we going?’ and ‘what are we doing?’ Basically, a woman who asks this is surely feeling you but thinks you are taking too much time to take the relationship to the next level. So that’s either her way of telling you to ask her to be your girlfriend, or propose marriage to her

Five (5) Reasons Some Women Are Scared Of Getting Married

Saying the words “I do” could be very frightening for some women. The reasons, why women are scared of getting married, vary from person to person.

Below are five of them.

1. Emotional and financial insecurity

These can be argued as two major reasons any woman would dread the idea of marriage. The tendency for the blazing fire of love between them and their partners to dwindle over time scares women a lot.

The questions – Will he love me still when I get bloated from the rigours of childbirth? What if some days we run out of things to say and the conversation dries up? What happens if he becomes financially unstable? – and much more worry many a woman.

2. Fear of commitment

Till death do us part! The thought of having to succumb to the authority of a man, dedication to a long-term cause, giving birth and raising children, keeping up with relatives and in-laws, taking care of the home, the opportunities forgone to stick to one person; and combining all of these with work, makes marriage seem scary to some women.

3. Career pursuit

Some women are literally married to their jobs – so what’s the need for a man.

They dedicate more of their time to their profession and climbing the ladder of success, often neglecting their emotional needs and those of their partners.

For them, marriage will create a lacuna between them and work. Thus, they would rather remain single.

4. Fear of the unknown

Unarguably, the future is plagued with many uncertainties, and nature or perhaps fate has forced the human to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

The fear of what the future holds is a withdrawing force for women.

5. Risk of divorce

Some women, because of their not-too-good experience in broken homes or the stigma attached to being a divorcee, would rather remain single than get married and risk breaking up.

Guys: If Your Girl Does These Things, Marry Her (No. 3 Is Very Important)

-Top Reason to marry your girlfriend now

We all fall in love at some point in our lives, our heart starts racing for that special someone and our assumption of the person being our soul mate start taking the front seat in our mind, at times those assumptions are always right and the relationship blossoms into marriage but at time they are wrong and it ends in heart breaks and we start hating love.

Men might not be picky when it comes to casual hook-ups with ladies but ask a man what he looks for in a wife and he will bring out a ‘must-have-list’ longer than the Nigerian constitution.

When it comes to “wife material”, a smart man does not just pick at random. Wife material is a woman who respects your struggle as a man, promotes your hustle, overlooks your past and appreciates you no matter how difficult you are or has been, she gives you the freedom to fly and dream but also reasons to come back and roots to hold everything together when things get tough. So guys, if your woman has the listed below characters then stop what you are doing and start searching for a ring.

Strong, independent and financially secure: “It’s not surprising that real men are attracted to strong, independent and financially secure women, these are all very $exy qualities, men are naturally born providers and protectors of the people they love but they also want to know their partner can handle herself”. “Real men actually find it attractive when a woman is confident about her independence, can support herself financially, and shows she can handle herself in all situations, men who find it intimidating when a woman is independent and financially secure are not real men they are weak and only see these qualities as a threat to their masculinity and need to grow up”. Every man needs a strong woman when his life becomes hard, because just like in a game of chess. The queen protects the king.

If she calms you down when you’re mad, never let her go: “We have a temper, some people have shorter fuses than others so depending on your fuse, this might be even more important to you than others, but if the girl in your life can take you from ultra-pissed back to your normal level of chill equilibrium then you have a girlfriend who truly knows you, and that is a gift, my friend”.

If she believes in you: “Every man needs a girl who believes in him, who helps with things, if she is by your side and if she believes in you, choose a woman who sees a hero in you and would do anything to keep your m0rals high because he is the one whose love is not limited to the circle of love only, but expands beyond the limitations life”.

A freak in the bed: “Men love s3x which is why they look for a woman who is a lady in the streets, but a freak in the bed it is an important quality is one of the most ‘must-have’ if you are to have a long and happy marriage, so she must be open-minded, not be afraid of experimenting and be spontaneous from time to time”.

5 Big Mistakes Men Make About Women… (Avoid No.3 If You Want Happy Relationship)

The desperation to find love or should I say get into a lady’s P@nt by most guys have made most relationships a manipulative one, most men make the mistake of thinking that can manipulate a lady into falling in love with them by turning on their charm or dashing out things to entice the lady.

Gone were those days when feelings are allowed to flow naturally, unhindered which end with a good result, unlike these days when feelings are manipulated with money and other material things. Today we will be discussing on some fundamental mistakes men make when it comes to women.

Trying to buy a lady over: “Love is not money and money can never be used to buy love, if you waste your resources trying to buy a woman over, she would only be with you for as long as the money lasts you shouldn’t be disappointed to know that she would walk the very minute you are done squandering but if she is a woman who values her integrity above all, she may call your bluff and move on and at this stage, the wealth you have tried displaying around her has been disgraced”.

Placing beauty over character: “Many men make the mistake of picking their partners by using a physical attribute, they use this as the major criteria and give more importance to the women’s looks than to the character they exhibit but deeper values should be used in assessing your missing ribs, men who make this grace mistake end up losing the women because they move on to the next bidder as soon as the men misbehave and the union may not last because the men may lose interest as soon as the beauty fades”.

Substituting money for affection: “This is a grave mistake committed by most of the influential men in the society, they are hardly around and think giving the women enough money would hold them down till they return but in truth, women love money and would welcome the idea of having money to spend at all times you should however not be surprised to know that the money is being spent on other broke guys who are more than willing to be with them and attend to their s3xual needs”.

Making false assumptions: “A woman that is beautiful has to be taken or she’s high-maintenance, assumptions are the mother of all mistakes every time you make an assumption about a woman and it prevents you from approaching her, it amounts to another wasted opportunity to hook up with a beautiful woman so take a chance”.

Being too nice: “A woman that would like you would like you irrespective of the fact that you act nicely around her, you do not have to bring yourself down to a level where you will become ridiculed eventually because you are trying to prove a point to her, love can never be forced; the earlier you understand this, the better for you and for the lady because you may become a potential maga or money machine once your desperation has been noticed”.

Tips: Stop Doing These Things If You Want Your Relationship To Last

1. Constant bickering

You may be head over heels in love with your mate but if you can’t go a day without arguing, you’re likely headed for trouble. Bickering is symptom of a larger problem. At its core, underlying bigger issues are seeping into every day conversations and causing conflict where there should be harmony. The real issues are about feeling unappreciated, disrespected, unloved, undervalued, misunderstood and more. Your marriage may not lack affection, but bickering shows the cracks in your relationship’s foundation

2. Fighting in public

Airing your dirty laundry in person or over the internet is a no-no if you want to make it in the long run. Putting your personal business out there on the streets, in a restaurant, or over social media shows a lack of restraint and maturity. It invites attention for all the wrong reasons. Garnering sympathy from your squad and drumming up judgment about your partner doesn’t help resolve any of your issues – it just creates a bigger problem.

3. Fighting dirty

When you do fight, fighting fair is crucial to keeping your relationship together. Cutting each other down and hurling insults escalate fights. Intentionally hurting each other with personal attacks instead of tackling the issues is a common yet rookie mistake. To fight fair, find the real reason behind the disconnect without throwing their issues, flaws and mistakes in their face. Starting a sentence with “I feel…” is always preferable to “You’re a…” or “You did…”

4. Shady behavior

Stop lying and keeping secrets if you want to keep your mate. It may be hard to admit the truth, especially if you have a good reason for keeping secrets buried. Embarrassment, shame and fear of being ridiculed or rejected can get the best of us. But your partner in life deserves to know who they’re dealing with. And they reserve the right to decide who they want to be with. Deception steals choice this from them and cripples their ability to make a well informed decision. Lying (directly and by omission) attempts to manipulate your partner’s behavior and feelings for you. It also erodes trust; a essential element of any relationship.
5. Venting to exes

Talking about your problems to exes or other third parties is a major contributor to relationship issues. Whether in person and online, having a standby ready to care for your emotional needs toes the line of infidelity. If you can’t talk to your partner about something important, respectfully consult a friend or reach out to a relationship counselor. But know you’ll eventually need to speak to your partner. Your issues with each other can only be resolved with each other.

Here Are Five (5) Little White Lies That Are OK to Tell Your Spouse

Honesty is the best policy . . . isn’t it? Well sometimes, it makes sense to tell a little white lie here and there to your spouse. Really. As contradictory as it sounds, a white lie on occasion will most likely save everyone’s sanity. Here are eight little secrets you can keep from your spouse without it hurting your marriage.

1. The Outfit Compliment

Really, if your spouse looks like an utter fool, it’s probably best you say something to save this person from embarrassment. However, there are many occasions someone might not really “rock” that new shirt, dress, or pair of P@nts but . . . your spouse loves it! It’s best you let your spouse feel good in that fashion choice. Don’t say a word, because if you do, most likely, it’s going to be the wrong thing!

2. When You Hate the BFF

If your spouse’s BFF is a big fat pain in the b*tt to you, most likely your spouse will see that the two of you don’t “jive” well. But if you really can’t stand this person, it’s advisable that you keep some of your critique to yourself. You don’t have to state that you love your spouse’s bestie, but you can hold back, and, if directly asked, soften the blow with a white lie like, “Well, we’re just different people.” Trust me, don’t mess with a spouse’s best friend . . . unless the person is toxic for your spouse.

3. A Hot Co-Worker

We all have our bucket list crushes of celebrities, but if someone in our real-life world is $exy as hell, let’s NOT announce it to our spouse! If your spouse asks you outright if you find your co-worker $exy, just say he or she is attractive but not your type. If he or she can see through it, just say seriously, this person doesn’t really do it for you. You don’t need your spouse envisioning you having Don DR@per-like affairs with your co-worker.

4. When the Joke Isn’t THAT Funny

You shouldn’t fake laugh at everything your spouse says, but if you’re out at a gathering and everyone laughs at your spouse’s joke but you don’t find it so funny, do you tell your spouse if he or she asks? No. You don’t. You say, “Sure dear, it was funny,” unless it was blatantly hurtful or offensive.

5. The Five Pound Question

If your spouse has gained a lot of weight, you can’t lie when the person asks you if he or she did. But if it’s a few pounds here or there, just say you don’t notice or instead, “I don’t know, but you look wonderful/$exy/beautiful/handsome to me.”

“He will only miss you if you give him the chance to do so; constant pings and calls won’t help you in any way, cut off all contact – control the temptation to call him, don’t reply to his texts instantly, and don’t indulge in too much social media activity, the trick here is to let him come to you”.

“Highlight the fun elements of your life; show him that nothing in your life depends on a man, men love women who know where to look for their own happiness”

Must See: Five (5) Things You Should Never Say to Your Child

  • Don’t Say To Your Kids

An interesting and enlightening article for parents and prospective parents on the important things they should never say to their children. Read on and learn.

File photo

1. Stop crying immediately!

Often, when a child knows s/he will be punished, s/he starts crying. Kids cry very easily because they’re still innocent and don’t know any important reason to be sad about. Additionally, they haven’t learned how to hold their feelings, and that’s logical. It’s perfectly okay for kids to cry and express their emotions. You should never prevent your child from doing crying. You can tell them, instead, that you understand how they feel and that it’s okay for them to express it. You can later explain to them why what they did was wrong.

2. You are worthless!

If you ever say that to your kids, you should know that they will always be in a search for approval and respect. You will make them feel insecure, helpless and, of course, worthless. So, refrain from it. Sometimes, it’s hard not to say things like that, but you must know how to control your temper, while demonstrating that you care about their happiness.

3. You are the best/the smartest/the prettiest, etc.

That’s the opposite situation. You try your best to boost your child’s confidence, and you end up lying to them. Why? How could that possibly help them in their adult life? Remember that you should be honest with your kids. Of course, you should be honest in a sweet and kind way, because the truth hurts, especially those who are still young and innocent. But there’s no need to lie. Your kid can’t be the best. They have flaws like all human beings. Telling them the truth will help them become mature more easily, accept failure and chase success where and when they can.

4. It’s silly to be scared!

No, it’s not silly to be scared. Especially when you’re five years old. What is certainly silly is not expressing and facing your fears, so that you can eventually get over them. Allow your child to declare how they feel, even if their fear doesn’t make sense to you. Remember that fear is not necessarily bad since it sometimes reminds us how to be careful and avoid dangerous situations. The best thing to say to a child in fear is that you understand them and that you believe in them. They’ll eventually find a way to deal with it.

5. I am disappointed in you!

It’s wrong to make your kids responsible for your personal disappointment. First of all, remember that your child isn’t there to make you happy and accomplish your individual dreams and goals. Of course, you are their biggest role model, and you should try to help them become better in every aspect of their lives, but not by making them feel remorse about themselves. What you should do is guide your kid when they do something wrong. Teach them what’s the right thing to do. Speak to them, be honest and kind.

Guys: 4 Signs Your Woman Has Slept With A Lot Of Men (Must Read)

There is actually no trick or way to know the exact numbers of s3xual partners someone has had in the past that is undisputable but do you know that with an observant mindset and a very keen eye one can have a good idea of the s3xual experience of one’s partner.

So guys, if you want to know how experienced that babe is s3xually here are some signs to look out for.

Her words: A lady that find it very easy to talk about s3x is more likely to be s3xually experienced because more s3x induces more s3xual confidence especially when the s3x is great, once a woman is s3xually confident she will have no problem discussing s3x-related issues.

She is up-front: The more s3xual experience a woman has, the more open she becomes about her s3xual needs so when she knows her “onions” and what turns her off during s3x then she is a pro between the sheets.

She shows you a thing or two: “You might consider yourself a bedroom don, but when you get in bed with her, she begins to show you explosive things your body can do that you never knew and this is because, not only has she been pleased a lot of times, she has also learned how to please”.

She is brazen: “Does she find it easy to take off her clothes and dance for you? is she rocking that Cowgal move like a p0rn star? if she seems to be very uninhibited and able to let go in the bedroom, just know she is no rookie”.

Five (5) Things That Make a Man Feel Insecure

Sappy romantics, old school gents, and heck, even alpha males can lose their confidence every now and then. No matter the circumstances, we guarantee the man in question doesn’t enjoy such feelings of insecurity. But no one can be 100% confident 100% of the time, which is why we’ve rounded up a list of five things that make a man feel insecure.

1. His partner’s success

Everyone would hope for a partner who’s their biggest cheerleader, but that’s not always the case. Sure, men often believe their role is to provide for the family, but when that balance is tipped, watch out. According to research published online in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, men subconsciously feel better about themselves when their female partners fail. The study’s lead author, Kate Ratliff, Ph.D., of the University of Florida, said, “But this research found evidence that men automatically interpret a partner’s success as their own failure, even when they’re not in direct competition.” Whoa … insecure much?

2. Coming up short in the bedroom

It’s a popular assumption a man’s ego has everything to do with size, but there’s far more to it. While everyone would like to consider himself a total Adonis in bed, it’s likely that s*xual performance will fall short from time to time. The Journal of s*xual Medicine found a desirable length of time in the sack lasts from seven to 13 minutes, and too short a time lasts from one to two minutes. But sometimes, it’s not always possible to remain at full attention for as long as one would hope, and that’s OK. Such a situation, though, can sometimes knock a man’s confidence points down a couple notches on the bedpost.

3. Not being able to open a jar

Sure, this insecurity may seem a bit macho-man, but not being able to open a jar (with ease) goes back to the primal days of “man make fire.” It’s no secret that men like to be, well, manly, and being able to force open a jar of jam is a point of pride. And what makes the stakes even higher? Well, Cosmopolitan says, when his significant other asks him to open it, that’s what. No matter how much brute force it takes, that jar top will come off.

4. Hearing about a partner’s ex

A person’s s*xual past isn’t exactly an A+ talking point. When a man’s significant other repeatedly brings up his or her previous relationships, it’s no surprise it will likely cause tension. And while Bustle says talking about exes is a sign of being insecure, it can also be a topic that makes a man insecure, as well. Let’s face it, no man is really dying to hear about all the gritty little details of your past. As far as he’s concerned, he’s the main squeeze in your life.

5. Being uncultured

Sometimes, if a man finds himself outside his conversational comfort zone, he may feel the need to overcompensate, Women’s Health mentions. A man may feel as though he has nothing to contribute to his partner’s views on Middle Eastern politics or feminist theory, so he’ll blurt out whatever comes to mind, regardless of how relevant it may be. But there’s no shame in admitting you’re not in the know about something. Most people in your life will actually find it much $exier if you’re able to confidently ask questions and be open to learning. So go ahead and ask away.

Eight (8) Ways To Protect Your Heart From Being Played By Guys

The only way to find love is to date with an open heart but at times that open heart is what gets many women played by men. Most times, women give their best, invest time and energy in men only for them to eventually realise it’s only a wasted effort and start the trend all over again.

Are you ready to start all over again and give another relationship another chance again? Then you will have to protect your heart well so you won’t be played again and not waste valuable time with a loser.

Ladies, here are ways to protect your heart from being played.

Avoid guys with obviously low self-esteem.

Make sure any guy you relate with, have values regarding family and relationships and those values match yours.

Don’t accept his bad behaviour.

Pay attention to what he DOES  and not what he SAYS.

Make sure he includes you in all aspects of his life.

Be very sure he’s INTO you.

Wait to have s3x (the right one will wait!).

Make sure you feel relaxed and happy when you’re with him.

4 Questions to Ask a New Partner Before Having S3x

You’ve just started dating someone new. You’ve been out more than a few times and you think you’re ready to get to the hot and heavy stage. Before the clothes start flying for the first time, you might want to ask some questions before having s*x.

s*x education doesn’t end in high school. Your own personal s*x ed quiz is a useful tool when beginning any new s*xual relationship. These questions can help both you and your new partner protect your physical health:

1 Have You Been Tested for STDs?

Many people will say yes to this question…and be wrong. They think that their doctor automatically tests them for diseases at their annual exam. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. The vast majority of physicians do not screen their clients automatically for STDs. You have to ask your doctor to do the tests.

Furthermore, you should specifically ask about testing, at least for chlamydia and gonorrhea, before starting any new s*xual relationships. Doctors are sometimes reluctant to test other STDs, such as syphilis or trichomoniasis, unless you have symptoms or know that you have been exposed.

Still, it never hurts to ask. Just remember, if someone says they have been tested for STDs, they should be able to tell you what diseases they’ve been tested for. If they can’t, they’re probably mistaken about having been tested.

2 When Was Your Last HIV Test?

Current guidelines from the CDC recommend that individuals be screened for HIV as part of their routine healthcare visits. If you have had any possible exposure to HIV through unprotected s*x, sharing needles, or other exposure to bodily fluids, you should be tested. If you’re not sure if you could have been exposed, you should also be tested.

In general, routine HIV testing is a good idea. Most states will test you anonymously. Furthermore, free testing is available at numerous locations. If your partner says, “I’ve never been tested,” you might want to wait to sleep with them until their answer changes. In this day and age, when free, anonymous testing is easily available, there is no reason not to be tested regularly. There is every reason to be.

3 Are You Currently Involved With Anyone Else?

It’s all very well and good to ask for your future s*xual partner’s STD status. Still, what they tell you may not mean anything if they’re continuing to have s*x with other people. If you are involved, $exually, in a non-monogamous relationship, these discussions are critical. You need to make certain that you are not only having safer s*x with your partner(s). You also need to make certain that your partner is having safer s*x with all of his or her partners.

Responsible non-monogamy is not necessarily any less safe than serial monogamy. In some circumstances, it can even be safer. However, it does require better communication in order to maintain your physical and emotional health. Remember, though, that long-term monogamous relationships represent the lowest risk to your s*xual health.

4 Are You Prepared to Have Safer s*x?

When in doubt, bring the supplies. If you are planning to have s*x with someone, it is important to take responsibility for your own s*xual health. That means having supplies on hand. Condoms, female condoms, back-up contraception, lube, saran wrap, gloves…whatever you need to make s*x safer for you is what you should have on hand.

What if your partner, for example, buys supplies that you’re allergic to or don’t like? There’s nothing quite as frustrating as deciding that you’re ready to have s*x and discovering that all the stores within driving distance are closed or out of your favorite condoms.

Here Are Seven (7) Easy Ways To Stop Snoring

Getting enough sleep often isn’t the only nighttime concern people have to deal with. About half of adult men snore, and whether you realize it or not, snoring can disrupt the quality of your sleep. At the very least, your sleeping partner likely takes issue with the problem. There is no magic cure for snoring, but there are some easy things to try that frequently give snorers relief. If you are worried you may have sleep apnea or your snoring becomes a bigger issue, go see a doctor. There are a number of treatments your physician may prescribe, and there are also some surprising alternative healing methods for snoring, such as singing and playing the didgeridoo. If you’re just starting to look into some easy ways to curb your snoring, or if your didgeridoo skills aren’t up to par, check out these seven easy remedies.

1. Stay hydrated

Drinking plenty of water is an important way to prevent snoring. “Secretions in your nose and soft palate become stickier when you’re dehydrated,” Daniel P. Slaughter, M.D., told WedMD. “This can create more snoring.” Your water intake should be spread throughout the day, but if you feel dehydrated at night, it’s worth drinking several glasses of water before you settle in for bed.

2. Lose weight if you are overweight

Weight loss doesn’t help everyone, but if your snoring started after you gained weight, this might be the method for you. Extra weight around your neck can squeeze the throat and trigger snoring. Try incorporating more exercise and healthier eating habits into your daily routine if you think a weight problem may be the culprit.

3. Change your sleep position

Sleeping on your side instead of your back is a commonly cited snoring remedy. When you sleep on your back, the base of your tongue and soft palate can collapse to the back of your throat, causing a vibrating sound. Taping tennis balls to the back of your pajamas is recommended to prevent rolling onto your back. Elevating your head can also help with snoring by opening the nasal passages, but it may cause neck pain. If your snoring continues even after changing position, you may have sleep apnea and should see a doctor.

4. Stick to a healthy sleep routine

Poor sleep habits can exacerbate snoring, so try to get plenty of sleep every night, and always go to bed/wake up around the same time. Working long hours and skipping out on sleep doesn’t just make you cranky in the morning. When you go to bed overtired, Slaughter explained, “You sleep hard and deep, and the muscles become floppier, which creates snoring.”

5. Open nasal passages

Sometimes snoring starts in your nose, in which case opening the nasal passages is the best way to remedy the situation. Nasal strips can be helpful to raise and open up the nasal passages, and a hot shower before bed can do the same thing, in addition to relaxing your muscles to help you fall asleep. If you are particularly congested or have a cold, rinsing with a neti pot might be more effective.

6. Reduce allergens

Allergens in your bedroom could be the major driver behind your snoring problem. Keep your bedroom clean and dust-free, and pay special attention to your pillows. Dust mites can accumulate in them and cause allergic reactions that lead to snoring. Put your pillows in the dryer on the air fluff cycle once every few weeks and replace every six months to keep dust mites at bay. Animal dander can also be irritating, so you might want to try keeping pets out of the bedroom — or at least off of the bed.

7. Avoid alcohol and sedatives

Drinking alcohol four to five hours before bed can make snoring worse, and people who don’t normally snore will often snore after drinking alcohol. This happens because alcohol and other sedatives reduce the resting tone of the muscles in the back of your throat, making snoring more likely. Alcohol can also potentially keep you awake or disrupt your sleep in the middle of the night, so giving up drinking may be the cure to two of your sleep problems.

Here Are Some Ways and tips To Show Your Boo Appreciation

If you have an all-star husband who continuously goes above and beyond for you, you’ve got to show him some extra love from time to time. And if you do already, there’s always new ways to go about it. Think about what he likes, things he begs you to do with him, or what kind of gestures would best suit him. But regardless of what you choose to do, he’ll probably love it, anyway. See 10 ways you can thank your man.

  • Make his favorite foods: Even if you’re not the best chef, it’s the effort that counts. He’ll be touched that you went out of your way to cook his favorite meal instead of grabbing the takeout menu.

  • Take him out on a nice date: Surprise him with a reservation at a restaurant he loves or somewhere he’s been dying to check out. Wine and dine him, and show him how much you love having him as a husband.

  • Put on something $exy: Whether it’s bulge-hugging briefs, lingerie, or an oversize tee, make sure you feel good in it, too. We’re sure he’s going to love whatever you put on or take off.

  • Buy him something he previously mentioned wanting: Remember that shirt he really liked in the window or the game he said he’s excited to play? You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to buy him a gift, and it doesn’t have to be expensive or even of value, either!

  • Surprise him at work (if you can): Pop into his office during lunch or have something delivered if you can’t step out yourself. Surprise visits are always appreciated, but make sure it’s not on a busy day.

  • Plan a fun weekend together: Keep it local or take the opportunity to go on a short vacation. If you don’t even feel like leaving the house, have lazy dates lined up for you two.

Amazing: This Is The Best Age To Get Married According To Science

If you’re in your 20s, you’re probably thinking that you’ve got stacks of time to find The One, settle down and relinquish your irresponsible single life. But apparently, you don’t.

Because according to something called the ‘37% Rule’, the perfect age to get married is 26.

The 37% Rule is basically the theory that you need to screen a range of options in a limited time frame. That could be jobs, new flats, prospective housemates or romantic partners. And the best time to make that decision is when you’ve looked at 37% of the options available.

At that part of the selection process, you’ve gathered enough information to make a considered decision without having wasted too much time assessing further, unnecessary options. After you’ve seen just over a third of the contenders, you’re in the perfect position to choose the best.

And according to ‘Algorithms to Live By: The Computer Science of Human Decision’, co-authored by journalist Brian Christian and cognitive scientist, that means that by 26, you’ve assessed enough of human nature to pick your life partner.

It’s based on the given that most of us are looking for love between the ages of 18 and 40 – meaning that the optimal age for seriously thinking about committing to someone is just past your 26th birthday – 37% into the 22-year window.

Before then, you’re missing out on potentially higher-calibre partners and after that, your good options start to diminish, basically meaning that unless you settle, you’ll be alone forever.

So, that’s good.

sixteen (16) Signs You May Have HIV Without Knowing

Many people are living with HIV without knowing for a long time. But, experts have provided signs to guide you to know if you have it or not.

Rash (File photo)

The best way to know if you have HIV or not is to get tested! According to research, a month or two after HIV has entered their body, 40-90% of the people experience symptoms that resemble flu symptoms, and this is known as acute retroviral syndrome (ARS).

According to HealthyLifeVision, in some cases the HIV symptoms don’t appear for years, even decades after the body has been infected.

These are some of the signs that may indicate you are HIV-positive.

1. Fever

One of the first signs of ARS might be a mild fever, up to about 102 degrees F.

In case you experience the fever, you may also often experience other generally mellow side-effects, such as sore throat, swelling of the lymph organs, weakness etc.

2. Fatigue

One of the inflammatory responses of your overwhelmed immune system is the feeling of tiredness and lethargy. Fatigue can be an early sign of HIV, but a later one as well.

3. Throbbing muscles, joint torment, swollen lymph hubs

Lymph hubs are part of the body’s insusceptible framework and are usually kindled in case of a disease. The most part of them is placed in the armpit, the neck and the crotch.

ARS is often confused for the seasonal cold virus, mononucleosis or another viral infectivity, even hepatitis or syphilis.

4. Sore throat and headache

According to Dr. Horberg, sore throat and headache are frequently recognized as ARS only in context.

One should be aware that the body still hasn’t produced antibodies to HIV, so an antibody test may not pick it up (the antibodies of HIV can be seen in a blood test from a few weeks to few months). One should find some other test options, like the one that detects viral RNA, usually within 9 days of the infections.

5. Skin rash

Skin rashes can be both early and late HIV/AIDS signs.

6. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

Around 30% to 60% of the people in the early stages of HIV deal with short-term nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, Dr.Malvestutto says.

7. Weight reduction

Called “guides squandering”, weight reduction is a sign of more propelled illness and can vary between a minor weight reduction to extreme looseness of the bowels.

8. Dry cough

Ron first noticed that something was wrong with him because of the dry cough. But, he thought it was some kind of allergy. According to Dr.Malvestutto, this cough is typical for patients of HIV who are very ill and could be going on for weeks, with you not seeing the way in which it would be resolved.

9. Pneumonia

Weight reduction and the H@ck might be a forecast of a genuine disease caused by a germ that wouldn’t cause any troubles if the invulnerable framework was working properly. Other opening diseases include toxoplasmosis, a parasitic contamination that affects the mind; a kind of herpes infection known as cytomegalovirus and yeast contaminations, like thrush for example.

10. Night sweats

Around 50% of people get night sweats in the early stages of HIV infection, Dr. Malvestutto explains. In the later stages, they become even more common and aren’t related to exercise or the room temperature.

11. Nail changes

Another sign of HIV contamination are nail changes, such as clubbing (bending and thickening of the nails), staining (dark lines or chestnut lines, placed vertically or on a level plane).

This is mostly the case because of some infectious disease, like Candida for example. According to Dr.Malvestutto, patients with worn out insusceptible frameworks are feebler to contagious contaminations.

12. Yeast infections

A fungal infection common in the later stages is thrush, mouth infection that is a result of Candida, which is a kind of yeast.

According to Dr.Malvestutto, it is one of the commonest funguses that cause yeast infection in women. Most frequently, they appear in the mouth, or the esophagus, and cause difficulties when swallowing.

13. Perplexity or trouble concentrating

Another sign of HIV-related dementia can be subjective issues, which appear mostly in the later stages of the disease. Perplexity and trouble concentrating aside, the AIDS-related dementia may also include problems with the memory and the behavior, like bitterness or irritability.

14. Cold sores or genital herpes

0ral herpes (cold sores) and genital herpes are an indication of both ARS and HIV in the late stages. Having herpes can also represent a risk factor for contracting HIV, since genital herpes may cause ulcer and thus make it easier for the HIV to enter the body during $ex. Also, people who have HIV usually have more severe herpes outbreaks more frequently because their immune system is weaker.

15. Shivering and shortcoming

Deadness and shivering in the feet and hands are also a sigh of HIV, in its later stages. The symptom is called fringe neuropathy, and it can also happen to people with uncontrolled diabetes.

Dr.Malvestutto explains that at this point the nerves are quite harmed. This can be treated with the help of over-the-counter distress relievers and anti-seizure medications, like Neurontin (gabapentin) is.

16. Menstrual irregularities

HIV disease in its late stages increases the risk of menstrual irregularities, like fewer and lighter periods.

There’s a link between the HIV infection and the earlier menopause (47 to 48 years for infected women and 49 to 51 years for uninfected women).

Seven (7) reasons why you need to expose your kids to the internet

Technology has been a blessing to this generation,as they are countless benefits children will gain from being exposed to modern day technologies. If you deny them, be assured that they will search for other means to learn themselves because clearly, children of nowadays are smart and they pick up things easily.

If you are still sceptical about exposing your child to technology, these reasons should convince you to change your stance. The only question you should have in mind is when is the right time to expose these kids to technology?

Higher concentration

When kids play games and perform tasks on handheld devices, they need to concentrate on completing the task. These series of activities will gradually help them pay close attention to things whether they are playing with the device or not.

Enhances social interaction

Technology is fast becoming a common feature in classes. You find children using tablets and support educational technologies to do school work. And since they do school work with these tech tools, kids will be able to interact more and share among their peers. Parents should not frown on their kids when they use these tech devices for educational purposes.

Expands horizons

There are so many things children will learn from technology. As there are negatives, there are also positives. The onus is on you to ensure that they do not see the negative side of technology. This said, technology expands the knowledge of children to a level far beyond their age. They see things that they cannot learn in class. You will observe that you are developing well-rounded and confident kids who can express themselves anywhere.

Improves cognitive performance

There are synergistic apps, video games and various kinds of educational challenges and programmes available on different devices, which are good for developing the cognitive functions of your kid. Unknown to you, you are grooming a genius!

More fun for kids

At that very young age, kids love to play. And an intelligent and smart way to allow them to play is by providing them with games that require strategic thinking. Through this, they are having fun and also learning.

Gives them an early sense of direction

At a very tender age, quite a number of people do not know what lies ahead of them. With technology, they have a fair idea of what they want to do. And if you are able to guide them, they will certainly have a direction on where they are heading.

Equips them with skills for the future

There is no gainsaying that technology is the future. Anyone without tech skills will naturally fizzle out and he or she will be forced to acquire these skills. Hence, it is a good idea to equip children with these skills when they are growing.

Here Are thirteen (13) Signs You Are A Legend In Bed

Having skills in the sack is something to be proud of. But how do you know if you’re a great lay?

It’s rare that someone is going to come out and tell you that you’re a hot mess and need to work on those moves, and women are notorious fakers. So we’re here to clear the air with some telltale signs that you really did do quite well. If you can relate to any of the following, keep doing what you’re doing, champ.

If this list seems foreign to you, stop focusing so much on what you think she cares about in the bedroom and start doing your homework. Here is a good place to start.

1. When you kiss, she gets turned on quickly.
Kissing can get a woman in the mood instantly. Don’t jab your tongue down her throat; hold her neck and kiss her like you mean it. You’ll be able to tell that it’s good by how in sync you two are.

2. You don’t skimp on foreplay.
Foreplay is so important. If you skip right to sticking it in, she’ll probably just be in pain. Take your time and show her that you’re interested in satisfying her needs before yours.

3. You’re confident AF.
Confidence is $exy. Need we say more?

4. Your ex openly admits that the s*x was amazing.
Talk about an ego boost. When your former flame says that the s*x was good and doesn’t even expect to sleep with you again, she’s telling the truth.

5. Your Friends With Benefit still hits you up.
Usually a FWB situation lasts until someone is in another committed relationship. But if she knows you have a girlfriend and still hits you up? 1. She sucks. 2. You’re killing it.

6. Women have asked you where you learned that move.
Something you thought was standard might just blow her mind. Although you probably saw it in P0*n once, maybe refrain from telling her that. It’s OK to take full credit here.

7. You communicate with your partner.
The key to good s*x is listening. Whether you need to speed up, slow down or change positions, you need to feel out your partner’s body language or talk it out.

8. She’s vocal.
Of course there’s always a chance she’s faking it—sorry, boys. But if she’s really into it, you’ll know. If you’re going down on her and her legs are shaking or she’s grabbing the sheets and yelling your name then, yeah, you’re doing all the right things.

9. She wants to do it again.
When you’ve really blown her mind, she won’t be able to get enough. For women, legitimately orgasmic s*x can be a rarity. When they find it, they crave it.

10. She’s super flirty afterward.
If she’s into you, she’ll talk to you throughout the day and may even make it known that she wants to do it again soon. Perhaps with pictures. Score!

11. She’s handsy all day.
While she may send you $exts or flirty messages throughout the day, it’s her body language that lets you know how much she really wants it. Actions speak louder than words, right? Take notice of how much she touches you when you’re together. She may be subtly asking for more.

12. You feel satisfied.
It’s important that both partners feel equally awesome after s*x. And since it takes two to tango, s*x is only great if you’re both on the same page. If you felt awkward and uncomfortable, chances are that she did, too. But if you thought it was hot and passionate, she very well may have, as well.

13. You don’t take yourself too seriously.
s*x is funny! You’re bound to encounter some awkward moments, but if you don’t let it ruin the mood, it’ll help her loosen up. Pun intended.

Here Are Five (5) Signs You Are In The Right Relationship

  • You give each other m0ral support

When your friends and family want to see you and your partner together, there is something to savor. Sometimes outside perspective is needed to see things you are too close and emotionally invested in to appreciate or view clearly. Don’t base the value of your relationship on the opinion of others, but listen to the voices you love and respect.

  • You both work hard for the relationship

Five (5) Steps To Keeping The Love Flame Burning This Valentine

Valentine is pretty much around the corner and showing love is the primary base of Valentine day. Though I am not a relationship expert, I have highlighted some steps that you can use to keep the flame of love burning in your relationship.

Surprises: nothing says “thinking about you” like springing a good surprise on your partner. It can literally light up a thousand bulbs in their world. The fact that you actually thought it through to send them flowers, gifts, lunch at break time etc when they least expect it goes to show you have them in mind. Surprises show that no matter how crazy your schedule is, you still find time to arrange a thoughtful gesture; and how heart-warming is that?

Date nights: some may argue this is borrowed culture from the West but it doesn’t make it less of a way to keep the flame in your relationship alight. Date night may or may not be weekly depending on your budget/schedule but incorporating it in your relationship will surely do it a whole lot of good. Find time to seclude yourselves from the craziness of work or the chatter of kids and go out to eat a nice meal, watch a nice movie, or even go clubbing. No matter the location, time spent together as a couple is very valuable and endears partners to each other a lot more.

Public Display of Affection (P.D.A): Nigerians will stare at you in an awkward manner, iya-alata will judge you with her eyes, children in their naivety will jeer and close their eyes but it is in your power to not let the reaction from the world deter you from expressing love to your partner publicly. Hand in hand strolls, forehead kisses and stolen kisses, brushing hair off your babe’s face, whispering sweet nonsenses in each other’s ears, compliments, private jokes etc done in public make up some of the ways to display affection publicly. Granted, you may be dating an extremely shy person; it is up to you as the bolder partner to make them comfortable with PDA. No need to go about it forcibly; with more subtle gestures and time, PDA can actually grow on your once shy partner.

Remember important dates: this particularly entails anniversaries and birthdays. It doesn’t just end at remembering, also make effort to do or buy something new and special for them. Days like that come only once in an entire year and remembering shows you care. Unless under very reasonable circumstances, do not forget important dates. They are one of the life wires that keep a relationship going.

Pray: ever seen or heard where something had the Almighty’s backing and it failed? I haven’t and I’m guessing you haven’t as well. The importance of praying for your partner can never be over emphasized. Your partner’s challenges are invariably your challenges and combating them spiritually saves you both a whole lot of stress. Pray, so you don’t fall prey to the antics of the enemy; pray so your love is one that stands the test of time and above all, pray so blessings and joy does not elude you two.

Ten (10) Things You Should Never Tell Your Spouse In A Fight

As you increase communication with your spouse, arguments will happen. You may wish you could turn back the clock – over and over again. Hopefully, humor can keep the argument from exploding out of control. If not, misunderstandings and fights tend to occur with greater frequency. Now, for those wondering, there is no, “How to Argue Correctly for Dummies,” manual or an, “Arguments 101,” class. Nor is there such a thing as a perfect relationship where disagreements never pop up. Despite the inevitability of an argument, some things should never be said. Here is a list of 10 of them.

1. “I want a divorce.”

While the coals of temper are ablaze, it is easy to say things you do not mean. Asking for divorce, though, even if amends have been made and forgiveness, requested, is a difficult thing to erase. It brings a lack of confidence in one another.

2. “I’m not angry.”

If you are not angry, then why are you making snappy remarks, slamming the door, putting her down and pretending that she does not exist? Denying your emotions will not help you in any way. We desire acceptance, and denying your reactions with those that love you is pointless. It is better to control your emotions and talk about what bothers you instead.

3. “You are just like your father!”

When you say this, you are probably talking about your father-in-law’s defects, rather than his good qualities. Besides not seeing your husband for who he really is, this type of statement will immediately make him take the defensive. Think about it. What would you like your child to be doing in a similar situation, when that day arrives?

4. “You are a (insert negative adjective)!”

Name-calling is ugly. Whether it is comparing her with someone you know or making her feel worthless, it will make her feel more vulnerable.

5. “Look, the kids are crying!”

STOP! Before you read any further, always remember: You should never, ever, argue in front of your children. If you use your children to gain advantage in a fight, it will only hurt your kids more.

6. “You are ALWAYS late, You NEVER do the dishes.”

Be wary of and even remove the words never and always from your vocabulary when describing something your spouse does that irritates you. By using these words, you show total lack of confidence and hope that your partner even has the desire to change. Never generalize.

7. “It’s all your fault!”

Rarely, in fact, almost never is something, in a marriage, only one partner’s fault. Assume responsibility and recognize your own faults.

8. “You don’t love me anymore!”

There is already plenty of drama to go around, so why add to it by telling your wife how she feels – whether she loves you or not? Respect her feelings. Making yourself the victim, reducing the problem’s importance and avoiding the problem does not resolve anything.

9. “Why don’t you act more like (insert name here)’s husband?”

Do not compare the person you chose to be with to anyone else. You already saw and understood the best and the worst about him before you got married. Besides, if you see someone else looking perfect and desirable, it’s probably only on the outside. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Keep your problem at home.

10. “My mother warned me about this!”

Bringing someone else into the fight is complicated enough as it is. Make that person your mother and the whole situation will probably explode. If you are so devoted to your mother, and if she had warned you about this, then why did you marry your wife in the first place? Most people already don’t like their mother-in-laws, but telling your wife that she is disliked by your mother will only make matters worse.

Now, just because you have used one or more of the phrases listed above, all is not lost. You can change. Stop now, ask for forgiveness, and set goals to stop repeating the mistake. No article, paper or manual can help you save your marriage or strengthen your family if you do not apply what has been taught. Practice good communication. Your marriage is the most important relationship to keep strong, in order to maintain your family unity.

Seventeen (17) Things You Need To Stop Doing In 2017

1. Stop saying ‘yes’ when you want to say ‘no’.

Seriously. Stop letting people walk all over you. I know it can be hard to tell the truth, and it can be hard to speak up for yourself, but this is your life. Do what you want to do, not what everyone else wants you to do.
2. Stop focusing on everyone else, and neglecting yourself.

We spend way too much time worrying about others, worrying about what they think of us, and worrying about what other people are doing or accomplishing. Let 2017 be the year you stop neglecting your needs and your dreams. Focus on yourself.
3. Stop dating just ‘to date’.

You don’t have to date anyone if you don’t want to. You don’t have to get a boyfriend or a girlfriend just because everyone else has one. Don’t date someone just for the hell of it. It’s a waste of your time.
4. Stop feeling sorry for yourself when something doesn’t go as planned.

Instead of spending time feeling sorry for yourself and wallowing on something that went south, work harder. Be better and do better. Let your mistakes shape you instead of tear you down. Learn from them, and don’t stop until you make your goals happen.
5. Stop worrying so much about the future.

The future is going to happen whether you like it or not. Try to focus on what is happening in the now, and what your goals are for today instead of what they are five years from now.
6. Stop comparing yourself to your peers.

Everyone is comparing and contrasting so much, it is becoming unhealthy for our mental health. Instead of looking at life as a race, think of it as your own individual pathway and realize that everyone is going to be going in different directions. Other people’s successes does not make your success any smaller.
7. Stop ignoring your gut feelings.

If you feel like someone isn’t right for you, or a job isn’t right for you, don’t ignore how you are feeling. Please trust what your body is telling you, instead of bottling it up inside of you.
8. Stop letting negativity get to you.

There will always be negativity in this world no matter what you do. Please stop giving into that mindset and giving into the dark thoughts that your mind is capable of having.
9. Stop caring about what other people think.

Here Are Five (5) Types Of Depression You Should Know About

As crummy as it feels to go through a day or two of feeling low, those fleeting moments of sadness don’t even come close to depression. This disorder can lead to extreme fatigue and an overwhelming sadness that prevents someone from enjoying things they once loved. And it’s pretty common, affecting over 26% of American adults, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But that’s really oversimplifying things, because there’s more than just one type of depression. Since mental illness is so prevalent, it’s important to know about these five types of depression in case you or someone you know may be suffering.

1. Major depression

Major, or clinical, depression is a very serious mood disorder that WebMD says affects 20% to 25% of adults at some point. It can interfere with daily tasks, including work, school, eating, and sleeping. If left untreated, major depression can last for weeks, months, or even years. Symptoms include energy loss, insomnia, restlessness, and feelings of guilt or worthlessness. It can also cause loss of interest in spending time with friends and loved ones and even changes in weight.

Interestingly, clinical depression can be generational. It may also be triggered by significant life events. This includes relationship conflicts, social isolation, abuse, or loss of a loved one. It’s important to see a doctor for treatment recommendations if any of this sounds like you.

2. Dysthymia

Also known as persistent depressive disorder, dysthymia shares some common symptoms with major depression. This includes lack of energy and concentration, no desire to take part in fun activities, and weight loss or gain. Harvard Health Publications mentions those with dysthymia constantly feel as if they’re going in and out of depression. It may be less severe than clinical depression, but it usually lasts longer. People with persistent depressive disorder can be very irritable and are more likely to develop major depression as well. Though there’s no way to prevent it, the combined use of medication and psychotherapy is usually a good option for treatment.

3. Postpartum depression

Women who’ve given birth may experience postpartum depression as soon as a few days after birth or not for several months, so it’s definitely important for mothers to pay attention to how they feel after delivery. The National Institute of Mental Health says this type of depression often causes extreme sadness, exhaustion, or anxiety. Women may also cry for no reason, oversleep, and may have difficulty developing an emotional attachment to their children. If left untreated, it can last for months or even years. Treatment may include antidepressant medication or counseling. If you feel these extreme symptoms after childbirth, be sure to see a health care provider to help decide what’s best for you.

4. Seasonal depression

Seasonal depression, or seasonal affective disorder, typically occurs during the winter months. WebMD says those with this disorder often feel moody, sad, and anxious during the colder months. Seasonal depression can also boost cravings for high-carb foods like bread and pasta. While it can affect anyone, it’s most common among women and those between the ages of 15 and 55.

The cause isn’t totally understood, but it may have to do with the lack of sunlight. Light therapy, antidepressants, and counseling may be used to help treat seasonal depression. Speak with your doctor if you notice the change in seasons taking an unusual toll on your mood.

5. High-functioning depression

Depression isn’t always easy to spot. In fact, some people who have it can appear completely happy and successful on the outside. But behind closed doors, they can be having a hard time. This is known as high-functioning depression. It’s a form of mental illness where people can complete tasks and carry out normal, everyday activities even though they feel depressed. One doctor told Well + Good she typically sees it among women who strive for perfection. It’s not easy to recognize, but some things to look out for include irritability, jokes that appear out of character, or constantly seeming detached. Meditation, speaking to a therapist, and prescribed medications can be useful. If you think you may have high-functioning depression, don’t be afraid to seek help.

Here Are Eight (8) Foods You Should Never Ever Freeze

For you to get the best out of your food, here are 8 types of foods you must not refrigerate.

*Photo used for illustrative purpose*

1. Water-Rich Vegetables

These include crunchy celery, lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, and watercress. The fact that they are water-rich means they freeze easily, but freezing ruptures the cell walls that give them their structure, so when they are defrosted they go limp and mushy. (They also develop an unpleasant oxidized aroma, flavor, and color.) However, pickled and fermented veggies will freeze just fine, since their cell walls have already been broken down. Fresh tomatoes can be frozen if you plan to cook them after defrosting, but if you want to eat them raw, don’t freeze—they’ll have a mushy, runny texture.

2. Whole Eggs

Eggs in the shell bust open when frozen, admitting dangerous bacteria. (If you really want to freeze eggs, take them out of their shells, first.

3. Coffee

You can store unopened, freshly roasted bags of coffee in the freezer for up to a month, but after you’ve opened the bag, don’t freeze it again. Thawing and refreezing coffee beans leads to moisture condensation on the beans, causing them absorb unpleasant freezer smells.

4. Soft Dairy Products

Sour cream, cottage cheese, and whipping cream separate and become watery after freezing.

5. Potatoes

Potatoes will discolor and lose texture if you freeze them raw; cooked potatoes turn waterlogged and mealy. Bottom line: Don’t freeze your spuds.

6. Emulsions

Freezing causes mayonnaise and salad dressings to separate and turn watery. (This also goes for recipes containing mayonnaise, such as dips or mayo-based salads.)

7. Block Cheeses

Freezing tends to make cheese very crumbly so that it doesn’t slice or shred well after. (To avoid this, you can shred your cheese before freezing it.)

8. Meringues + Cooked Frosting

Freezing turns airy meringues tough and rubbery; and makes cooked frostings soften and weep. Finish those desserts now instead of putting them on ice for later.
